Trip Highlights- The dry fly trout fishing on the Middle Fork is an amazing experience.  Starting in mid August through the end of the season Rocky teams up with Salmon River Anglers to fish and explore the Frank Church Wilderness. We will fish the Middle Fork and explore its tributaries as we float through the largest roadless wilderness in the United Stares.  The serious fly fisherman will have the opportunity to fish all day, every day.

Fishing Boats-  Due to the rapids on the Middle Fork , water levels determine the craft.  We use Boulder Boatworks drift boats and Streamtech fishing boats designed specifically for the Middle Fork.  Two anglers per boat.

Includes –  Professional, helpful and friendly fly fishing guides and staff.  New, comfortable camping equipment. Top notch rafting gear.  Sodas, regional beer, selected wine, fresh & creative food. Comfortable Motor Coach return to Stanley at the end of your trip.

Food – Fine food complements the Middle Fork itself.  We believe in fresh, creative food…and lots of it.  Dutch oven cuisine is a specialty and a tradition of Rocky Mountain River Tours.  Guests experience breakfast sticky-buns, Pecan-Crusted Pork Tenderloin and a creative array of Dutch oven cakes.   Check out the video-short:  Rocky Food . We are happy to accommodate gluten-free, vegan and other specialty diets.  Call us for details

Beyond the Banks – Rafting is only part of the trip.  Rocky trips offer hiking, exploring waterfalls, discovering pictographs, experiencing historical homesteads, soaking in natural hot springs and witnessing wildlife. Join us and explore The Frank Church Wilderness & Middle Fork of the Salmon, one of America’s most awe-inspiring landscapes. Check out this video-short: Rocky Camp Life
